Ranboo doesn't fight Dirk-- they have no strength to, are only semi-conscious at best in this moment. They continue to struggle to breathe as Dirk starts to sit up, grasps their shoulder and jaw, their chest heaving as their body struggles instinctively against the powerful sedatives still processing through their system.

At least he isn't conscious to feel the slowly growing distress his body is in.
